The Edge Theatre & Arts Centre in Chorlton, Manchester is run by registered charity Waters Edge Arts, producers of high quality participatory and mainstream theatre.

The centre provides the region with a new 70 seat theatre, for use by amateur, community and professional companies.

As well as a theatre space, the building houses workshop, rehearsal and meeting rooms, with plans to open a cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

We have a large selection of classes for adults and young people and you can also find out about upcoming productions, here at The Edge, on the menu on your left.

“I am delighted to support this exciting theatre company. Theatre remains a place where a community can hear and see things about themselves without the filter of government or corporate interest. Good theatre continues to be a particular gift of all people who live in England. Long may The Edge Theatre thrive.”

-Mark Rylance, patron of The Edge
